Full description
Fox, A., 1961, Twenty-Fifth Report on the Archaeology and Early History of Devon, 61 (Article in Serial). SDV341693.
A Clactonian type flake of Greensand chert with a high angle between the bulbar face and the striking platform one face shows scars of thermal fracture. No sign of secondary working. Found on the disturbed surface, cleared to subsoil level, of a fire-break on Haldon, not far from a ruined barrow. Palaeolithic period. Other details: Figure 1.
