Pair of attached properties. Early to mid 19th century. Local rubble, stuccoed to front and slate-hung to rear, with brick end stack to slate roof. L-plan with rear left range. Three storeys. Four-window elevation to West Street, with 3/6-pane above plate-glass sashes; late 19th/early 20th century shop front with panelled and ha1f-glazed double doors to left and earlier 19th century 6-panelled door set in panelled reveals to right. 3/6 above 6/6-pane sashes to rear, which has wrought-iron balcony above basement area; rear wing has glazing bar casements and hipped roof dormer. Interior not inspected but known to have been substantially remodelled with loss of most original features. Principally included for its facade's contribution to a good group of similar listed properties on the south side of West Street.
