Full description

HOSKINS, 1964, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV39120.

At rashleigh manor an old map showed a curious section of ground some way from the farms called gallons green. Had three cottages on it around a small green. May represent smallholders' dwellings of the eleventh century (hoskins, 1964).

HOSKINS,1962, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV39121.

Possibly the site of the smallholdings of the five bordars mentioned in the domesday book (hoskins,1962).
