Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1982 - 1999, SX99NW2 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV341806.
1. Possible bowl barrow (B) recorded by Shaw in 1934.
2. Site visit 02/08/1962. No obvious traces of mound in the positions given by Shaw. Suggested that the barrows were plotted in the wrong location and that the barrows Shaw is referring to are those in the field to the north.
3. Site visit 09/02/1982. Pasture field in which barrows were plotted exhibits no remains of barrows. Barrow B is actually barrow D. Other details: Barrow B.
