Full description

The East Linhay is one of two along the south side of the main farmyard, and is now a roofless shell. At the east end it butts against the southern bay of the earlier barn range, and at the west end it is butted agtainst by the West Linhay.
It is built of regular red machine-made bricks laid to a mainly Flemish Garden Wall Bond, overgrown with ivy. The front wall has the remains of two doorways and a window in between, none of the heads of which survive.
Internally there is one single space, perhaps once partitioned by stalls. There are internal brick piers with rounded corners, presumably to take the roof trusses and/or loft joists dividing it into six bays.
Probably dates from the late 19th century.
