Three sides of a possible cropmark enclosure, potentially of later prehistoric date are visible on aerial photographs of 1992 abutting and possibly enclosing a mound on natural origin. The cropmarks define a roughly square enclosure up to 45 metres across, at the south-west corner of which is a small mound or knoll, circa 25 metres in diameter. This appears to be a naturally occurring outcrop or geological formation which has been deliberately appropriated by the enclosure. The possible cropmark enclosure is not apparent on any other photographs available to the survey.
