An L-shaped former field boundary is visible as a cropmark or low earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1946 to 1992. The feature corresponds with a field boundary depicted on the 1840 tithe map for Abbotsham. It is not depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25inch first edition map of 1880s-1890s, and had therefore probably passed out of use by this date.
