Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

The remains of possible field boundaries of probable post-medieval date are visible as low earthwork banks on aerial photographs of the 1980s onwards, to the north of Cornborough.
The earthworks correspond in part with field boundaries depicted on the 1840 tithe map for Abbotsham. The field pattern in this area has been remodelled by the publication of the Ordnance Survey 25inch first edition map in circa 1880s-1890s. The earthworks appear to have been slightly eroded or damaged by vehicle tracks in 1987, but remain visible as low earthworks on interactive digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2007. However, hard copies of thesse images are not available to be viewed stereoscopically so this cannot be confirmed.
