Earthworks of a possible mill stream, possibly the tail race from Hartland Corn Mill, are visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The possible water channel is visible for approximately 45 metres, running roughly east-west alongside the mill for circa 20 metres before turning almost 90 degrees to run north to meet Abbey River. It is not clearly visible on later aerial photographs.
