A curvilinear earthwork visible on aerial photographs to the north of Kernstone Farm, centred on circa SS23132384, is probably the remains of a former strip field boundary of medieval date. On aerial photographs of October 1946 the earthwork is visible running in a roughly northerly direction for approximately 250 metres. It is not clearly visible on later aerial photographs but may be hinted at on Lidar data acquired in 2007.
