A linear bank, aligned approximately east to west and circa 2 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1959 as a pale cropmark with one darker edge to the south. No field boundary is depicted in this location on the 1844 Tithe Map, and the cropmark probably formed over the ploughed out bank and ditch of a field boundary of medieval or post-medieval date which became disused before the mid-nineteenth century.
