The remains of a curvilinear bank, probably a strip field boundary of medieval origin, are visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork approximately 375 metres to the north of Milford. The boundary is not depicted on either the Ordnance Survey first edition 25inch series map of the 1880s-1890s or the tithe map of circa 1842, and had therefore probably passed out of use by the start of the 19th century. The earthwork remains visible on aerial photographs of 1978 but cannot be clearly seen in later years, and might have been levelled by subsequent agricultural improvement.
