Narrow ridge and furrow earthworks are visible.

No evidence of the earthworks remain visible.

Earthworks of narrow ridge and furrow are visible on aerial photographs to the south of Docton Farm, Hartland, on the north-east facing slopes of an unnamed combe. The area of improvement is adjacent to a spring-fed stream to the east into which ridges appear to be aligned to facilitate drainage. They appear to be substantial earthworks, on average 5-7 metres wide, but appear to have been levelled by 1978.
