Summary

A pale roughly circular cropmark is visible on aerial photographs from 1959, and below-ground remains are likely to survive. The monument appears similar to ploughed out round barrows of Bronze Age date, and may be associated with another feature 50 metres to the south-east. The area is covered by vegetation on 1946 aerial photographs, so any earthworks surviving in the 1940 may have been obscured.

The area is vegetation covered, and no earthworks are visible.

A pale semi-circular cropmark with a darker border is visible.

The field is cultivated and the site of the mound is possibly slightly greener in hue.

A pale roughly circular cropmark, 8 metres in diameter with a darker border 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs from 1959. No definite cropmarks are visible on later aerial photographs, but the site of the mound is possibly slightly greener in hue than the surrounding land on aerial photographs taken in 1999, suggesting below-ground survival of archaeological remains. The form of the monument is consistent with ploughed out round barrows of Bronze Age date. The area is covered by vegetation on 1946 aerial photographs, so any earthworks may have been obscured, but a similar feature approximately 50 metres to the south-east is visible as an earthwork mound in 1946 aerial photographs, and may also be a barrow.
