A curvilinear earthwork bank approximately 3.5 metres in width is visible on aerial photographs from 1946. It is in the same location as a field boundary depicted on the Tithe map of 1840, and parallel to other curvilinear boundaries, and is probably part of an enclosed medieval strip field system. No field boundary is depicted in this location on the 1880s-1890s Ordnance Survey mapping, which indicates that the bank ceased use as a boundary in the second half of the nineteenth century. A slight earthwork is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1999,suggesting survival of the earthwork.
