Narrow ridge and furrow earthworks, probably created for post-medieval or modern agricultural improvement and drainage, is visible as earthwork banks on aerial photographs of the 1940s, to the north of Northway, Parkham.
The earthworks are orientated roughly north-east to south-west, across the north-east facing slopes of a small oval field immediately to the north of Northway, covering an area circa 0.6 hectares. The ridges are aligned towards the head of a combe to the north-east, probably to facilitate drainage. They are not clearly visible on aerial photographs taken after 1946, and might have been damaged or lowered by later improvements.
