Narrow ridge and furrow earthworks, probably created for post-medieval or modern agricultural improvement and drainage, is visible as earthwork banks on aerial photographs of the 1940s, to the east of West Goldworthy Farm, Parkham.
The earthworks are orientated roughly north-north-east to south-south-west, across the south facing slopes of a small irregularly shaped field at the head of a narrow combe. The ridges are aligned towards the head of the spring-fed stream stream which flows along the combe, probably to facilitate drainage. The earthworks are not clearly visible on aerial photographs taken after 1946, and might have been damaged or lowered by later improvements.
