A low earthwork bank is visible on aerial photographs of 1967 to the east of Higher Worthygate Farm, Parkham. It is probably the remains of field boundary of post-medieval date. The bank is centred on circa SS36742346, and measures circa 2 metres wide and 30 long. It is not depicted on the 1842 tithe map of Parkham and had probably passed out of use by this date, but appears to abut, and is on the same alignment as, an extant field boundary to the east. There is a good probability they are therefore contemporary, possibly medieval or post-medieval in date. The bank is not clearly visible on later aerial photographs and has probably been levelled by expansion of modern development immediately to the north.
