A roughly circular mound, approximately 11 metres in diameter, is visible on aerial photographs dating to 1946. Its size and location are consistent with an interpretation as a possible barrow of Bronze Age date. In 1978 aerial photographs, the mound is just visible as a circular earthwork, and although apparently impacted by ridges from modern deep ploughing, which cross the mound north to south, some earthworks may survive. Several pale circular cropmarks are visible in the ploughed field, 25 to 85 metres to the north of the mound, in the 1978 aerial photographs. It is possible that these could have formed over the remains of further barrows that had been levelled to a greater extent, but they are in very close proximity to each other and could simply be the result of the plouging of rough ground.
