Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

A linear bank with a slight oblique dog-leg is visible as a pale cropmark on aerial photographs between 1946 and 1959. It abuts a small kink in an extant post-medieval field boundary, and could be the remains of a former field boundary of medieval or post-medieval date. However its proximity to the barrow cemetery means that other interpretations are possible, including perhaps a prehistoric boundary function.
