A large rectangular structure of unkown function is depicted.

A small rectangular structure is visible overlooking the cliff edge.

A small rectangular structure circa 5 by 4 metres in size, located on a low oval earthwork mound is visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s, at Portledge Mouth, Alwington. The function of the structure is unknown, but it might be related to that of a larger, earlier structure, depicted on the Ordnance Survey Second Edition 25 inch map. Alternatively, it might be of Second World War military function.
