A possible former field boundary or trackway is visible as an earthwork hollow or ditch, running west to east on a south facing slope to the south of Winscott Farm, Alwington. The earthwork does not correspond with any features depicted on either the 1837 tithe map for Alwington or the Ordnance Survey first edition 25 inch map and therefore probably passed out of use prior to 1837.
