A linear bank, aligned roughly east to west along the contour at a break of slope and approximately 2.5 metres in width, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It is in line with an extant field boundary to the east, and is likely to be a former field boundary of medieval or post-medieval date. It is not depicted on the 1840 Tithe map so presumably became disused before the mid nineteenth century. A small segment of the bank is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1971, when the land is under cultivation; the earthworks may have been levelled.
