Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

A curvilinear bank, circa 4 metres in width and aligned roughly north to south, is visible as an earthwork on 1970s aerial photographs and on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2007. It is parallel to two adjacent extant field boundaries of medieval character and is interpreted as the relict bank of a medieval field boundary. No field boundary is depicted in this location on the 1840 Tithe map and therefore it presumably went out of use before the mid nineteenth century. Slight earthworks are very likely to survive.
