A semi-circular platform, circa 38 metres in diameter, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs between the 1940s and 1970s. To its south are two small fields next to the farmstead. The platform is not depicted on the 1840 Tithe map, although a change of vegetation symbolised on the 1880s-1890s Ordnance Survey map suggests a possible earthwork here at this time. Settlement at Eastacott is documented from the thirteenth century and the platform may be an associated settlement or infield enclosure of possible medieval date, which presumably fell out of use before the mid-nineteenth century. The two small field boundaries to the south have been removed since the late 1970s, but earthwork remains of these and the platform itself may survive.
