A rectangular pit roughly 11 metres square is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s to the 1970s, immediately to the south of a receiver mast and associated structures at RAF Northam Radar Station, with which it may be associated. The pit might be contained within a fence and appears to contain water. It’s function is uncertain, but it might be a pond or storage tank. The earthwork remains visible in 1979 but has been levelled or infilled by 2001.
