Five parallel rectangular structures at right angles to the land are visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and 1950s. The structures are pale and may be concrete, measuring approximately 0.6 metres in width and 3.5 metres in length. There may be a post at each end of the complex. It crosses a small channel and it is possible that it was constructed to block the route along this channel, perhaps for military training purposes. There is no indication of the structure on aerial photographs taken in 2007.
