Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

A cropmark less than one metre wide is visible on interactive digital images derived aerial photographs flown in 2007, for circa 30 metres on a steep south facing combe slope to the south-east of North Hole Farm. The cropmark might be evidence of a former field boundary, ditch defined or formerly hedged but now grubbed up. The date of the possible former boundary is unknown. The line of the cropmark is parallel to a former boundary depicted on the Georgham Tithe map of 1839, circa 100 metres to the west, but the cropmark does not correspond with any depicted boundary, so its removal probably predates 1839.
