Hegarty, C. + Knight, S., 2011 - 2012, North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV349018.

A probable former field boundary bank, circa 2 metres wide, is visible as a pale curvilinear cropmark on aerial photographs between 1945 and 1946. It has the same alignment as an extant boundary to the west that is visible on the 1940s aerial photographs, and this together with its curving form suggest that it is likely to be a removed and levelled component of a medieval field system. Below ground remains may survive.
