The exe valley railway. This was a branch line of the gwr and it ran from stoke canon to morebath junction (minchinton). Authorised in 1874 and taken over by the bristol and exeter in 1875. It was built by the gwr and opened in 1/5/1885, built to standard gauge. The line only carried light traffic and was closed on 7/10/1963 (thomas).
