A possible inter-tidal structure is visible.

A possible wreck of unknown date is visible on military oblique aerial photographs of August 1960, as a curved structure centred on circa SS 52753396 near Higher Strand in the inter-tidal zone of the River Taw. The possible structure is visible eroding from the eastern edge of the river channel. It is defined by two narrow curved linear features which outline the shape of a possible wreck measuring circa 15 metres long and 4 metres broad. The channels of the River Taw are continuously shifting and the possible wreck is not visible on any later aerial photographs available to the survey.
