Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

No weir is recorded on the 1904-1906 25 inch Ordnance Survey map but it may be related to the Sheepwash that is marked in this location.

Visit date unrecorded. Stone weir and mill race with possible pool on eastern side recorded at SX 79179 80020. Concrete funnel point under inland from race allows water back into the Wray Brook. Absence of any building structure or wheel, timber axle or any signs of working water. Sketch made, map attached. Upstream area could be flooded. Photographed.
