Site visit 19th September 1973. B: A round barrow 25.0 metres diameter and 0.7 metres high, situated in high ground on a gentle east slope, in arable land and occasionally ploughed. Other details: Plan, site B.

One of 2 barrows much levelled by ploughing but still clear, standing to circa 0.7 metres high.


Gerrard, H., 1996, Round Barrow 330 Metres East of Beacon Moor Cross Forming Part of a Round Barrow Cemetery, 139558 (Un-published). SDV343290.

Site visit 9th November 1995. Round barrow forming part of a round barrow cemetery which includes at least 7 mounds and a ring ditch. This barrow survives as a circular mound with a diameter of 15.6 metres and is 0.7 metres high. The ditch from which construction material was quarried surrounds the barrow and survives as a buried feature circa 2 metres wide.

A bowl barrow situated in a prominent location near the summit of a gentle south-east facing ridge overlooking the valley of Huntacott Water. The barrow forms part of a round barrow cemetery which includes at least seven barrows and a ring ditch.
