George Braund and Henry Hearn, 1839, Map of the Parish of Georgeham in the county of Devon surveyed for the commutation of Tithe (Cartographic). SDV349926.

A possible quarry pit of unknown date is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards and images derived from Lidar data. It is not depicted on the 1839 tithe map for Georgeham or the Ordnance Survey first edition 25 inch map, and therefore had probably passed out of use by the mid-nineteenth century.
