Full description

Building is first depicted on the First Edition historic map. The adjoining barn is not shown.

Heathcot and its adjoining barn 19th century. Associated Town Farm is earlier Granite rubble walls. Grouted slate roof hipped at left end. Rubble axial stack between Heathcot and its barn.
Plan: Heathcot, has 2-room plan with the larger heated room to the right (smaller than Town Farm). The barn adjoining it on this side was probably added later in the 19th century. Two storeys. Heathcot has 1-window front of 20th century top opening casements. Open-fronted hipped roof porch to left. Barn attached at right has central first floor loading hatch. Interior: not inspected, but may contain original joinery.
