Full description

Low east to west orientated earthwork banks are visible. Field investigation is require to confirm the survival and extent of the earthworks.

A small area of possible ridge and furrow of probable medieval date is visible on digital images derived from Lidar data acquired in 2007, as earthwork banks centred on circa SS45794511 to the east of Mortehoe. The possible ridges are orientated roughly east to west, are spaced approximately 11 metres apart and cover an area of less than one hectare. They are not readily identifiable on any aerial photographs available to the survey.
