Two possible linear ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1957 on the east side of Ora Hill. One appears contiguous with a field boundary to the north, which is visible as a narrow linear mark in 1957, although its form is difficult to ascertain since it is not possible to view this area stereoscopically. The linear cropmark changes direction to the south, from a north to south alignment to a north-east to south-west alignment covering circa 75 metres. This gives the illusion that it forms the east side of an octagonal enclosure, perhaps a former field boundary, but it is possible that the narrow linears are simply surface marks from agriculture. A further linear feature some 35 metres to the east, and also aligned north to south, is visible as a cropmark or possibly an earthwork circa 3 metres in width, and could also be the remains of a former field boundary. No boundaries are depicted in these locations on the 1839 Tithe map, suggesting that any former boundaries here would pre-date the mid nineteenth century.
