Summary
One of several probable Bronze Age barrows at Hore Down Gate is visible as a circular earthwork mound on aerial photographs between 1947 and 2000 and on a site visit in 1968. The earthworks are vulnerable to ploughing.

A roughly circular mound is visible as an earthwork.

A mound is visible as an earthwork, roughly 16 metres in diameter, on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 2000. It is probably one of several Bronze Age barrows in this vicinity, many of which Grinsell recorded from a site visit in 1968, but not all are visible on the available aerial photographs. It is very likely that an earthwork survives in this location, although both above and below ground remains are highly vulnerable to destruction from continued agricultural activity.
