Two earthwork terraces are visible.

Two earthwork terraces are visible on aerial photographs from 1946, immediately to the west of the coast road. They are aligned along the contour 10 and 20 metres from and parallel to the road. Although there are probable medieval relict field boundaries in the area, these terraces are perhaps more likely to have been created during the construction of the coastal road in the late nineteenth or very early twentieth century. They are clearly visible on images derived from Lidar data captured in 2007 and therefore likely to survive well.
