A level semi-circular area, roughly 17 metres in diameter, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. It is located close to numerous probable military sites, but may itself be civil in origin, perhaps recreational such as a viewpoint. It is not depicted on the 1904-1906 Ordnance Survey mapping and is likely to date to the first half of the twentieth century. It is not readily discernable on later available aerial photographs but may survive as an earthwork.
