Full description

Rogers, W. H. H., 1900-1901, Haydon of Woodbury and Ottery St. Mary, etc, Devon, 237 (Article in Serial). SDV107235.

St Mary's parish church: in the south porch, which was probably erected or re-edified by John Haydon, on the ironwork of the door is 'J. H. -1571'. Over the doorway the royal arms are sculptured.
