Three roughly circular cropmarks are visible.

Three roughly circular soilmarks are visible on aerial photographs taken in 2007, 50 metres to the south-east of Borough Cross. The name Borough can be attached to an earthwork of prehistoric date, often including Bronze Age burial mounds. However the soilmarks here are mottled with unclear edges, and while one is pale and could resemble the ploughed out remains of a barrow the other two manifest as dark elliptical marks. They are therefore more likely to be geological marks, although some doubt remains as to their exact character.
