A small area of disturbed ground is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. It is likely to be the remains of an area of stone quarrying and probably dates to the Post Medieval period. There are a number of other stone quarries in the area, with the large limestone quarry at Napps to the north-west. The quarry is centred at SS 5674 4685, and measures 72 metres long by 16 metres at its widest point, covering an area of 660 square metres. The edges of the quarry are irregularly shaped, and this shape may be due to a number of individual stone pits being combined to form a single quarry before being backfilled. The quarry is not shown on the Ordnance Survey map at any scale, which makes its precise date uncertain; however, it does appear to have been worked recently and does not appear to be in use on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map of 1899, indicating it is earlier than 1899 in date.
