A narrow bank forming a corner is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. It is likely to be the corner of a building platform, but its precise date and function are unknown. The corner is centred at SS 5650 4745 and is located in a field next to the Old Beach Road, which runs through Napps Quarry. The earthwork measures approximately 19 metres horizontally and 25 metres vertically. A limekiln is shown in the approximate location on the 1st Edition Ordnance Survey map, associated with the limestone quarrying at Napps Quarry to the west, and it is possible that the building platform is related to this structure. No such structure is shown on later editions
