The curvilinear bank corresponds with a field boundary depicted in this location.

No aerial photograph reference or form is attributed to this site, which appears from its shape and size to be a plough spread medieval field boundary circa 11 metres wide. It is depicted on the Tithe map but not the 1880s-1890s Ordnance Survey map, and is likely to have gone out of use in the latter part of the nineteenth century.
