Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

One of the pits visible as earthworks on 1980s aerial photographs is depicted as a quarry.

Three medium size oblong features, in a linear pattern, are visible as earthwork pits and transcribed from aerial photographs taken in 1988. They are classed as possible quarries of post-medieval date.

One of the three pits recorded from aerial photographs taken in 1988 is depicted as a quarry on late nineteenth century mapping, and is recorded as MDV75335.
