Summary
A former field system of medieval or later date is visible as cropmark and earthwork banks and ditches on aerial photographs taken in 1978. All but one of the boundaries probably went out of use by the mid nineteenth century.

Only one of the banks corresponds to field boundaries depicted on the map.

An interrupted ordered, rectilinear linear system, 'field' size on average 150m by 55m. Visible as cropmark and earthwork banks and ditches and interpreted as the relict field boundaries of a medieval or later field system. Mapped from aerial photographs taken in 1978.

Only one of the features corresponds to a field boundary depicted on the Tithe map or later available mapping, and the use of the others therefore probably predates the mid nineteenth century.
