Full description
Dalton, J. N., 1917, Untitled Source, 73 (Monograph). SDV102603.
Existed at beginning of 19th century, rooms over the archway for the morn-priest. Other details: Plan/Illustration.
Rose-Troup, F., 1932 - 1933, Bishop Oldham and Ottery St Mary, 153 (Article in Serial). SDV336632.
Site of collegiate gatehouse. Erected c1688, replacing an older building, and still extant until late 18th century. A stone from it survives in the churchyard, this bearing the arms of Bishop Oldham (1505-19).

No visible remains. Stone of Bishop Oldham relates to a rebuilding, and is now in churchyard gatepost, probably built in 14th century, restored early 16th century, rebuilt c1688 and demolished early 19th century.
