A former field system of medieval or later date is visible as cropmark and earthwork banks and ditches on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1978. It probably went out of use by the mid nineteenth century.

An interrupted ordered, rectilinear linear system, 'field' size on average 153m by 81m. Visible as cropmark and earthwork banks and ditches, and interpreted as relict boundaries of a medieval or later field system.
