Summary

Small bronze age ring cairn 600 metres north of the Whittenknowles Rocks Bronze Age settlement. It measures 5.8 metres in overall diameter with a ring bank 1.2 metres to 1.6 metres wide and 0.3 metres high. One, if not two incomplete rings of set stones protrude through the low bank.

Full description

Fletcher, M. + Newman, P. + Probert, S., 1999, Drizzlecombe, Eylesbarrow, Ditsworthy and Hartor areas in the Plym Valley, West Devon (Report - Survey). SDV346268.

(19/09/1999) A ring cairn located on a south-west facing hillslope at SX58426774. It measures 5.8 metres in overall diameter with a ring bank 1.2 metres to 1.6 metres wide and 0.3 metres high. One, if not two incomplete rings of set stones protrude through the low bank.
